About Judi Lynn Sorsen

Candidate for Director-at-Large for the upcoming 2024-2026 term

Hi, my name is Judi Lynn Sorsen. My husband and I are from the Midwest and now live in Quail Creek full-time. As a candidate for Director-at-Large of the Tubac Pickleball Club, I would very much appreciate the votes of the members. Many of you have not yet met me, but I am an avid Pickleball player, volunteer mentor/trainer, and enjoy all aspects of the game. I plan to be an advocate for all members and look forward to having the opportunity to represent our pickleball community. I first started playing pickleball in Tubac after a club member invited me to the Friday morning drills/clinic.

I run Round Robins for a group of my own and help for other groups when needed. I will be participating as a team member of the Tubac APPL League on both the women’s and mixed teams. I also volunteer mentoring/teaching the middle school children in Green Valley and Sahuarita.

Before retiring in Syracuse, I worked as a Courtroom Deputy Clerk for a federal judge.
In my professional career, my responsibilities included managing the caseload of the judge. I also worked on the IT Committee where our goal was to help improve the programs and working conditions of our computers systems and how to achieve those goals. I also served as a mentor/trainer for our docketing program.
As part of the Tubac Pickleball Club Board, I will work hard to ensure the success of the Club, and look forward to sharing my enthusiasm of this game by working with our members to help them grow and improve their game. My objective is to help improve all facets of the club.

Thanks for your consideration!
